2018年3月18-23日，第十届（University Consortium on Aquatic Sciences, UCAS）”研究生研讨会于厦门大学东山太古海洋观测与实验站（Dongshan Swire Marine Station of Xiamen University，D-SMART）举办。我课题组博士生刘萌阳和Aklima参加了此次研讨会。

UCAS是一个由厦门大学和香港大学研究生共同发起的研究生学术组织，并有台湾海洋大学和台湾中山大学陆续加入。今年，研讨会以“The blue planet——What are we doing & What’s to be done?”为主题，吸引了来自香港大学、台湾海洋大学、台湾中山大学、高雄科技大学、中国海洋大学、河海大学及厦门大学的50位研究生及两岸三地的十余位老师参与。

刘萌阳同学做了题为《biological pump drives POPs export to the deep ocean in the Arctic: Insights from field measurements and modelling》的口头报告，Aklima Nagris做了题为《Heavy Metal analysis in sediments of the river Buriganga (Bangladesh): Potential ecological risk assessment》的口头报告。同时刘萌阳同学作为本届组委会的成员，承担了部分会议筹备工作。
