2019厦门国际海洋论坛于2019年11月1日在中国厦门市厦门五通飞港酒店举行，主题是关于“为有着共同未来的海洋社区建立蓝色伙伴关系”。

2019年11月2日，由厦门大学海岸与海洋管理学院主办的“陆海一体化促进沿海可持续发展”海洋事务研讨会在厦门国际海滨酒店举行。论坛吸引了国内外高级别政府官员的国际和政府间组织代表、民间社会组织代表、国内外学术机构的科学家学者等广泛参与会者聚集在中国厦门，就进一步合作实现可持续发展的共同未来海洋社区蓝色伙伴关系进行了展望。

2019年海洋事务研讨会包括促进沿海可持续发展的陆海协调和一体化，旨在加强参与21世纪海上丝绸之路倡议的国家的沟通与合作。海岸带是一个海陆交界面，海洋与陆地的相互作用十分强烈，人类活动和全球变化对海岸带有着十分强烈的影响，科学地理解自然过程和社会经济规则是采用和实现海陆协调一体化的关键因素之一，也是实现沿海健康可持续发展的途径之一。

讨论的重点是如何深化沿海可持续发展能力建设方面的合作，如何探索科学、技术和管理一体化的新途径，如何通过海陆协调一体化，共同促进沿海可持续发展。希望本次研讨会能以中国的经验和前瞻性，为建设全球海洋生态文明作出贡献。

And the workshop of marine affairs on ‘Land –Sea Integration for Sustainable Coastal Development ‘was held on 2^nd  November 2019  at Xiamen International Seaside Hotel that was organized by Coastal and Ocean Management Institute (COMI), Xiamen University.

The Forum attracts a broad range of participants, including home and aboard high-level government officials’ international and inter-governmental organizations representatives, representatives of civil society organizations and scientists and scholars from academic institutes in China and abroad. Participants gathered in Xiamen, China at this Forum for a perspective on further cooperation in realizing the blue partnership for a maritime community with a shared future for sustainable development.

The Workshop of Marine Affairs 2019 embraces land-sea coordination and integration for coastal sustainability, aiming for strengthening communication and cooperation with countries involved in the 21^st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative. The coastal zone is a sea-land interface where the sea is strongly interacting with the land and has been intensively suffered from both human activities and global changes. In view of that, scientifically understanding the natural processes and socio-economic rules is one of the key enablers for adopting and realizing land sea coordination and integration and way to achieve a healthy coastal sustainability.

The discussion will focus on how to deepen the cooperation on capacity building of coastal sustainability, how to explore novel approaches to integration sciences, technology and management and how to work together for promoting coastal sustainability through land-sea coordination and integration. It is expected that this workshop will contribute to the building of a global maritime ecology civilization with China’s experience and prespective.

I (Aklima Nargis) was working as a rapporteur for the workshop of marine affairs 2019. I feel proud to be a part of this. I believe workshop and training platform support young scholar to enhance the comprehensive quality and management capacity of maritime professionals, cultivate high level talents to make sound and friendly atmosphere for harmonious development. Sadique also was working as a rapporteur. I attach some pictures below that I have.
